Andrew is Managing Director, Europe, of the Global FX Division of GFMA (Global Financial Markets Association, whose member associations include SIFMA, AFME and ASIFMA). The Division was formed in June 2010 to support efforts to promote an efficient FX market, monitor regulatory developments that could affect the market and assist the industry in building out the infrastructure of the future. Its members currently comprise 23 global FX market participants, collectively representing more than 90% of the FX market. While focused on Europe, Andrew has responsibilities for global initiatives as the Division seeks to harmonize evolving rules for FX across jurisdictions. Andrew will be taking part in the Panel Discussion ‘Lifting The Lid On Regulations - Which Reforms Are Causing More Harm Than Good And How Can You Minimise Their Negative Impact On Your Trading Desk?’ on the 14th September.
